To shatter limiting beliefs.

To provide people with access to resources needed to help themselves and others.

To spread the message that Worker Health, Safety, and Wellness is not and cannot be truly effective unless it is TOTAL Worker Health, Safety, and Wellness.

To spread Love, Respect, Tolerance, Empathy, and Knowledge by actively living and promoting a higher octave of The Golden Rule.

I think that pretty much says it all. Everyone holds limiting beliefs that halt or slows their journey. Once on that journey everyone at times experiences obstacles in their path. And everyone at times needs help to access and utilize the internal and external resources needed to overcome those obstacles. If you have the means to help, then you should help. Love, Respect, Tolerance, Empathy, and Knowledge all speak for themselves. I have been a nondenominational minister performing weddings for people of all faiths, and of no faith for over a decade. I respect everyone’s beliefs. All I ask is that you show the same respect to others, keep your religion out of government, and don’t impose your beliefs on anyone else.

I have been a health and safety professional, a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Certified Safety Professional practicing a career that spans almost 40 years. I have worked to ensure that the workplaces I practiced in were safe and free from recognized hazards and that the employees who worked there were safe from exposure that could make them ill. But I have come to believe that unless employers and safety professionals concern themselves with TOTAL WORKER SAFETY then they are only practicing partial worker safety. A worker’s safety, health, and wellbeing off the job and in every other aspect of their life directly affects their performance on the job and the company’s bottom line. We can’t continue to pretend there is an invisible line between on the job and off the job. And in order for it to be truly TOTAL Health, Safety, and Wellness it has to extend to include mental health and wellness free of stigma.

Practicing a higher octave of the Golden Rule means going beyond do no harm. Do unto others as I would have them do unto me should mean more than simply, do no harm. It should also mean do good. Give needed and wanted aid and assistance with no expectation of personal benefit. Do no harm should be a low bar but I know sometimes for, all of us, it can be a high reach. Sometimes, especially lately, it’s simply the best we can do. But other times, when we can, we should aim higher. I believe we are all connected on a quantum level, through the energy of all things. We should honor that connection.

I am, among other things, an ordained nondenominational minister. Put aside your preconceived notions of ministry. Beyond the Golden Rule and strive to be a good person doing good in the world when you can, we’re not preaching a doctrine of beliefs here. It truly is non-denominational or no denominational. All who practice and seek love, respect, tolerance, empathy, and knowledge are welcome.
